The Skullboy Anthem is on Rock Band!
    Skullboy on Rockband!

Breaking news! If you've got Rock Band and an XBox 360, you can now get Stewart's "Dance With Me," otherwise known as the Skullboy Anthem, right now from the Rock Band Network! You can get it right here on the Xbox Live Marketplace! It's only ONE DOLLAR, and a hoot and a half to play through. Although maybe that's just me grinning like a kid at the fact that there's Skullboy stuff on my TV. I hope Stewart decides to put more of their stuff up, because they've got some really catchy songs that aren't Skullboy related!

Happy Vladentine's Day
It's Valentine's Day! Time once again for this website's apparently only regular feature! This year, I decided to follow the latest trend in romance - Vampires! And what could be better than the O.G. Dracula himself - Vlad the Impaler!

Exhibit!

Panel to Panel III

No, not Xzibit, the rapper, actor, and television personality. It's an art exhibit! In another attempt to appeal to the high brows amongst you, and to make people believe I'm a legitimate artist rather than a funny doodler, I have some pieces going up in an actual museum! I'm not exactly sure which pieces will be there, but I'm sure there's some Skullboy, some X-Babies, and maybe some Spongebob stuff.

The exhibit will be showing work from myself, Chris Giarrusso, Geoff Darrow, Grey Williamson and Carbon Fibre, Sydney Jordan, and Jesse Lonergan. There's an opening reception this Saturday, Febrary 6th. Psst! There's usually free food at these things!

San Diego Bound
Unit 2!

Hey, guess what came in the mail today? A bank statement! Also these brand spanking new Unit 2 shirts for those of you few monkey lovers out there. Just in time for the San Deigo Comic Con, which is in like just a few minutes (July 22-26). So, if you're going to San Diego, it looks like I'll be set up in Artist's Alley at GG-13 right next to perennial convention-mates Chris Giarrusso and Gregg Schigiel.

In playing around with my new camera, I also took a shot of this X-Babies page in progress. Sneak Peak! X-Babies fighting dinosaurs!

X-Babies Are Go!
X-Babies #1

Oh yeah! X-Babies! Marvel has announced the X-Babies mini-series I'm working on with my pal Gregg Schigiel, who's on writing duty. We've done a few interviews and some of the concept art has been posted around the internet. Gregg has a pretty comprehensive list of the articles up on his site if you want to check them out and read all the negative comments. Personally, the Mojo Mayhem Excalibur special that Art Adams drew back in the day was one of my favorite comics of all time, so I'm thrilled to be working on this project! X-Babies, Go!

MoCCA Was Awesome!

The Mighty Skullboy Army #11 Stewart - Dance With Me CD

I went to MoCCA was this past weekend! That's information that would have probably been more useful last week, but I was too busy working a new Skullboy comic to debut at the show. Plus me and this website weren't on speaking terms. But, we've since made up and here I am! I'm pleased to say Mighty Skullboy Army #11 featuring mostly Mod Dog and not-so-much the Mighty Skullboy army was a sell-out success. Also debuting at the show was the Skullboy Sampler CD, featuring music from my friend Andrea Tarka's band Stewart! She wrote a Skullboy theme song and we thought it might be a good idea to put out a limited run of a mini album of sorts with several other Stewart tracks, featuring jacket art by me.

I will leave you with these mini sketches that I did while at the show.

Happy Valentine's Day! (Has it been a year already?)

What do artists do when they're too busy to draw something? Well, they rely on that ol' standby, CLIP ART! Happy Valentine's Day!

So, what have I been so busy doing? Lots of stuff! If you're in New York, Chris Giarrusso and I have an exhibit up in an actual art gallery! Here is the flyer for details. I will also be flying out to San Francisco for Wondercon, February 27th to March 1st. As for comics, I've drawn a 12 page story for Mike Raicht's Creature Feature #2 (reviewed here) entitled "Don't Eat the Snow," which should be out now. I have my copy! There's probably other stuff too, but I forget.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I may not have updated in a while, but you know I can't leave you romantics high and dry on St. Valentine's Day! This year's Valentine's Day cards feature your favorite bootleg Superheroes! They may be bootlegs, but their message of love is sincere. Plus, I can't be sued because any idiot can see that they're totally different in totally obvious ways. Previous years valentines can be found here, here, and here.

Happy Halloween!

"Mummy came in my house."

This was probably my second favorite movie ever. I kind of regret drawing Frankenstien already, because here he is again. I should have drawn Dracula. Shows just how much I plan these things out.

Happy Halloween, everyone!

Frankenstien!

It's a classic today! Also, as a bonus, a drawing of me in my aforementioned Garfield costume when I was in first grade. It's drawn from memory, so I don't know exactly how accurate it is. It was just one of those plastic masks and smock from the store. I remember that I was also wearing hunter orange clothes underneath, cause you know, Garfield is orange. That was the only time I had a store bought costume. After that, it was all homemade, most variations on this silver pant and shirt combo. That costume became an astronaut, a Ghostbuster, and Voltron.

Okay, after numerous requests, here's the Librarian Ghost! Don't say I never gave you anything. This one was pretty fun to do, so I'll call it even. More monsters up next!
